The history of fragrances dates back to the high cultures of ancient Egypt, where the art of making perfumes was originally invented. Fragrances were always considered as highly inspirational – and that´s the reason why Silan uses them in its products: To inspire you and your senses, to evoke pleasant sensations and to give you the comforting feeling of well-being. 

 

Creating those Silan fragrances you like to indulge in is a real science of its own. But a science with a lot of passion in it. For example, to describe a certain perfume, you use "fragrance notes" – just like in music. Each perfume consists of three fragrance notes: Top, heart and bottom. Together, they perform a harmonious "scent accord". You get aware first of the top note, then, slowly, the middle note comes in, and is finally released by the bottom note. This bottom note usually comes up not until after thirty minutes! Yes, it´s this complex - and all three notes influence each other.

 

There are a lot of different notes that are used to create a great Silan fragrance, but bringing them together appropriately is a real virtue.
